What is DaMOst?

DaMOst connects federal state networks and associations of migrant organizations in the new eastern Länder (states) of Germany representing over 300 migrant organizations.
DaMOst represents the interests of the population with a migration background living in East Germany at the federal level.

Due to the lack of labor migration in the eastern states, a different structure has developed in the east regarding migration and integration. The proportion of migrants in the total population is therefore lower. This results in special challenges, but also specific potentials.
